The kit also features all the original specifications of the Rev. 3 model with its full-size keyboard and black control panel with orange lettering. The ARP Odyssey's unique synthesis - perfectly reproduced from the circuit onwards The original ARP Odyssey was a duophonic instrument with 2 VCOs. His most famous unique selling point was his cutting, penetrating sound character with a rich range of tonal variations. With its variety of functions and modulation options such as oscillator sync, sample & hold, pulse width modulation, high-pass filter, two different envelope generators and pitch bend via the pressure-sensitive controller, it was able to create a versatile range of sounds. Filters from all three device generations Overall, there were three different versions of the original ARP Odyssey over the production period, which differed mainly in the design of the filter circuit. The ARP ODYSSEY FS Kit contains all three different filter types and allows them to be selected using a single switch. Type I (Rev. 1) is a 12 dB/octave filter that produces a sharp, punchy sound. Type II (Rev. 2) is a 24dB/octave filter with excellent sounding bass. Type III (Rev. 3) remains extremely stable in sound even at higher resonance. These three different filter types were also meticulously modeled on their original models.
