QSC TouchMix 16 Compact Digital Mixer

The TouchMix-16 mixer not only meets the requirements of professional users, but also delivers a range of features that enable less experienced users to achieve a high-quality result. For this purpose, QSC has developed the so-called "Simple-Mode", ähähnlich the automatic program of a digital camera. This mode is tailored to typical live operating situations and is limited to the essential parameters. This should enable even less experienced users to master a cool live mix without getting lost in the jungle of parameters. The "Advanced Mode" on the other hand, provides access to all other features such as EQ, compressors, gates and limiters. As the name suggests, the TouchMix üis operated via the touchscreen (and the encoder wheel). The mixer, which has about the mass of a laptop, works completely autonomously. TouchMix also allows remote operation. An included WLAN dongle initiates a WLAN connection so that all parameters can be remotely controlled via an iOS-enabled device. External hardware, such as a WLAN router, is thus superfluous. Wizards and Libaries Touchmix has a comprehensive library of predefined channel settings. These are not standard settings, but settings that have been developed by experienced sound engineers in close cooperation with musicians. Different instruments, microphones, pickups and speaker systems were taken into account to meet current live requirements. The integrated Effect Wizard guides through the selection and adjustment of effects, while the Gain Wizard simultaneously monitors and displays input signal and clipping. This allows users to concentrate on their performance. TouchMix also offers libraries that contain complete scenes for the mixer. True to the motto: unpack and get started! All edited or self-created scenes can be stored in the internal memory as well as on a USB stick and loaded from there accordingly. Either the complete setup or individual parts, such as the monitor mix, can be loaded onto the auxes. Color touchscreen in combination with hardware controls for fast and intuitive operation Unlike analog mixing consoles, control of parameters ütakes place via the capacitive 7" touchscreen and hardware knobs. This type of editing allows for very fast and efficient control. Monitoring and recording The ability to monitor yourself is an important factor for musicians. With four (TouchMix-8) or ten (TouchMix-16) auxilary outputs, TouchMix can easily be used for monitoring purposes. In addition, TouchMix allows the recording of all channels as well as the stereo mix, optionally to a USB stick or an external hard disk in WAV format.
