Yes. Select a previously recorded track in Rec Src (SNARE, HI-HAT, KIT, BASS, INST 1, INST 2, VOCAL, MIXOUT) to sample.
2. VERSELAB MV-1: Does it have a Sampling function?
Yes. You can use the samples you create as tones or drum instruments. You can also export them to an SD card.
3. VERSELAB MV-1: What kind of microphone can I use?
You can use either a dynamic mic or a phantom-powered condenser mic.
- When using a condenser mic that requires phantom power, switch the phantom power setting (Phantom Sw) on.
- Electret condenser microphones (plug-in power system) cannot be used.
4. VERSELAB MV-1: What kind of SD cards can I use?
You can use a commercially available SD card (SDHC cards up to 32 GB are supported).
Before using an SD card for the first time, you must initialize (format) it on this unit.
5. VERSELAB MV-1: How do you create tracks for the looper?
To create a looper track, change the INST 1 or INST 2 track type.
6. VERSELAB MV-1: Is the data compatible with the MV-8000 or MV-8800?
It is not compatible with the MV-8000 or MV-8800.

Yes. You can load an audio file into the following types of tracks: “tone,” “drum kit” and “looper.”
- Audio files cannot be loaded into a vocal track.
Save the sample files to load (in WAV format) in the ROLAND/MV/SAMPLE folder of the SD card.
