Description
With the lightweight and intuitive GT-1, mobile guitarists don't have to sacrifice sound quality. Its powerful BOSS GT engine offers a huge selection of high-quality amps and effects for almost all musical styles. Thanks to a comfortable user interface, sounds can be programmed intuitively. An assignable CTL footswitch and the expression pedal also allow real-time sound manipulation. To help you get started, countless patches, editor software and more are available for free download on the BOSS Tone Central website. With its top-notch sounds and ultra-rugged chassis, the GT-1 is equally suited for beginners, casual giggers and busy guitarists.
Sounds of the special class
With its proven GT engine, the GT-1 offers sound quality and programming options far beyond the competition. In addition to contemporary effects, its innovative MDP technology includes numerous BOSS classics, such as the OD-1 Overdrive. The nearly countless amp sounds are based on COSM technology and cover everything guitarists expect today: from vintage sounds of the great amp legends, to BOSS originals with punchy response. Effects like "Acoustic Simulator", "Guitar Simulator" and similar increase the sound possibilities to the limit. Of course, a looper is also on board.
The handy sound supplier
The GT-1 was developed for musicians who are constantly on the move. Despite its light weight and compact dimensions, it joins the ranks of BOSS' indestructible sound suppliers. Its contemporary design allows it to be stowed in the gig bag's accessory pocket, and sharp corners and edges that could damage the guitar have been deliberately removed. The GT-1 can be powered either by a mains adapter or batteries (runtime: up to 7 hours) and can thus be used in any conceivable location.
Easy patch selection and sound programming
The GT-1 makes it easy to find the right sounds and edit them in a way that's easy to understand. Beginners can get started right away, while experienced guitarists will appreciate the logical user guidance for creating sounds. Easy Select lets you sort patches by genre, distortion type or effect type, while Easy Edit provides direct access to key parameters such as drive, modulation and echo. Dedicated footswitches allow you to turn effect groups on and off, and select sound parameters for fine-tuning sound nuances.
BOSS Tone Central and BOSS Tone Studio
On the BOSS Tone Central website, GT-1 users will find countless free patches for virtually every style of music. These have been created by professional guitarists and sound great right out of the box. They can also be used as a basis for programming your own sounds. The free "BOSS Tone Studio" software can be used as an editor and for sound management, but also provides access to the patches on the BOSS Tone Central website.
Huge possibilities despite compact dimensions
The GT-1's three footswitches allow you to select patches directly, access the tuner function, operate the looper, and more. The CTL1 footswitch can be assigned functions such as "Tap Tempo", switching the effects on/off and many other aspects. The expression pedal and its toe switch allow you to control volume, wah-wah and selected effect parameters. If even more control is needed, two optional footswitches or an additional expression pedal can be connected. The USB port not only provides access to BOSS Tone Central and work with "BOSS Tone Studio", but also serves for recording with a computer-based DAW.
