The Kultube is an extremely versatile compressor with extensive switching and control options that leave nothing to be desired in all typical compressor applications. From upgrading the individual or sum signal in the "Midi Studio" to surround mastering with several linked devices, all tasks can be solved with the highest quality. You can choose between hard and soft knee characteristics, and external devices can be connected for control via a side chain socket. With the switchable "Progressive Time Control" for attack and release, optimized time constants can be achieved depending on the input signal (fast pulses are intercepted with an attack time of up to 20 µs). In master/slave mode, any number of devices can be controlled centrally. The adjustable tube saturation of the output stages with automatic output level adjustment can bring nuanced to brutal tube sound effects into play, while the decompressor mode can revive over-compressed material (such as samples). Optionally, the Kultube can be equipped with SPL's 24/96 AD/DA converter and sound-enhancing Lundahl input and output transformers (galvanic isolation).
