Founded in the 1940's by Clarence Leo Fender, Fender Electric Instrument Manufacturing Company is one of the best known brands in the world of electric guitars, basses, amplifiers and electric pianos. Fender continued to innovate in these areas and built legendary models such as the Telecaster and Stratocaster for the guitar and the Rhodes for the electric piano.

The sound of a '50s Strat but with a little more attitude! Fat '50s pickups deliver enhanced bass response without the harsh mid-range. Pickups feature hand beveled, staggered Alnico 5 Magnets and Formvar magnet wire. The middle pickups is reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum canceling in positions 2 & 4.
