Info sulla serie

If Duesenberg designed a surfboard, its look would surely be far from ordinary, even though you could still catch the perfect wave with it. However, with the Duesenberg Caribou you still can catch the perfect wave - an outstanding fresh and new guitar design in colors to match the theme - Cyan Green and Narvik Blue!

Needing also a sound that could live up to the guitar's great California looks, Duesenberg designed pickups specifically for it. Single Twin singlecoil pickups deliver sparkling sounds reminiscent of the sun on the waves of the Pacific - without any hum to interfere with this impression! For a more powerful sound, the familiar Grand Vintage humbucker sits at the bridge, while the musician-approved and always fascinating Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola delivers a shimmering sound. The ones, who do not need a Tremola, can fall back on the Caribou-version with a fixed bridge.

The three-pickup-circuit is clear and practical. Duesenberg's multi-pot brings in the signal of the middle pickup, which in interaction with the three-way toggle switch results in six different sounds. Surfing has never been more awesome than with the Caribou!

Marca

Retro-Design and Innovative Technology The fascination of the shapes and colours in the 40's and 50's and the permanent search for technical innovation were the driving forces. A good balance between respectful analysis of the classic constructions and designs on the one hand, and careful improvement and optimization of the techical details are the solid base that the brand Duesenberg is seated on today. Then and Now 1995 the first Starplayer was built in the basement of an appartment house in the south city of Hannover. Being founded by Dieter Gölsdorf as a one-man-business, the company today has around 30 employees. Several relocations were made and we're still growing. Modern manufacturing techniques like the newest technology in CNC milling machine or the Plek fret dressing machine result in Duesenberg being a synonym around the world for best quality and workmanship. Art Deco One of the most important reasons for Duesenberg's success is the unique design concept. It is Dieter Gölsdorf's very own interpretation of the Art Deco style, which gives the intruments their distinctive appearance. Almost every part from the tuner knobs, the trussrod cover and the pickguard to the little switch knob ist exclusively manufactured for us, and features our trade mark: the three steps. They stand for what Duesenberg is - always THREE STEPS AHEAD! Innovation Hidden behind the pretty facade there are numerous technical innovations, which are sometimes only discovered at second sight. The Z-Tuners allow easy and comfortable restringing. The tilt of the pickups can be adjusted by a third screw in the pickup ring, so that the surface of the pickup can be aligned with the strings. And last but not least the Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola, one of the best systems available on the market.
