Description

An excellent introduction to the Kawai Portable Piano range.

The ES110 is the newest model of the respected portable Kawai digital pianos and already has many features of the premium models, in a lightweight construction and at an attractive price.

The 90-year tradition of piano building at Kawai is not only reflected in the construction of first-class acoustic pianos, but also, for example, in the development of the keyboard mechanics of our digital pianos.

The new Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard in the ES110 was developed to authentically reproduce the fine, natural touch of a grand piano. The springless construction of the keyboard adapts the feel of the game in a natural way by moving hammers.

With 88 graduated keys, the keyboard of the ES110 allows a very authentic feel and is therefore ideal for beginners who are looking for a beginner's instrument or as a second instrument for the experienced piano player who still practices or makes music after work at home or on the go would like to.

Each note has its own character

Be inspired by the piano sound with 88 key sampling, the advanced resonance effects and the Harmonic Imaging sound technology developed by Kawai in the ES110, regardless of your playing skills.

Reverb, noises & resonances

Thanks to the integrated reverb effects, it is possible to simulate different acoustic environments. In addition, intonation, damper resonance and other acoustic characteristics can be adjusted. The result is a lively, impressive and authentic piano sound.

Inspirational opportunities

In addition to the authentic feel and the high-quality grand piano sounds, the ES110 offers you a multitude of useful functions. The integrated lesson function, the adjustable metronome and also the song recorder are helpful features for the aspiring pianist. Thanks to the additional sounds, the dual and split game modes and the 100 rhythms, the player can let their creativity run free.

Line out connections

With a weight of only 12 kg, the ES110 is ideal for musicians who are looking for a portable digital piano with an authentic feel and high quality sound generation. The Line Out connections allow a direct connection to a mixer or an amplifier system, while the built-in loudspeakers can be used as a monitor or switched off if necessary.

Bluetooth MIDI

In addition to the MIDI IN / OUT sockets, the ES110 is also equipped with Bluetooth MIDI technology, which enables wireless communication with smart devices (e.g. smartphone or tablet). This gives you the opportunity to comfortably use a large selection of music-related apps in connection with your ES110 digital piano.

Optional: stand & triple pedal

With the matching stand HML-1 and the triple pedal F-350 you can transform the ES110 into a compact floor-standing piano.

Good sounds, good keyboard action, light weight

I am very pleased with this keyboard. Very impressive and priced very reasonably, I believe. The acoustic and electric piano sounds are especially pleasing and there are a variety of options, including midi. I love the action of the keys, similar to a traditional acoustic piano. I am very impressed with its light weight, which was a very important element in my decision to buy because I need something I can easily transport and carry. There are other weighted-key keyboards that have a larger variety of sounds, but for its weight and price, I believe this Kawai is unbeatable.

Great digital piano for beginners

After trying a few digital pianos from a broad price range I decided to buy an entry level model. I watched a few review and comparison videos on youtube before deciding to go with Kawai ES-110. I liked the sound, I liked the fact it's a new model with a new key mechanism and I liked bluetooth MIDI.

The piano is all I expected and more. I'm very happy with the purchase and I'm sure I will have to study diligently for years before I will feel the need to upgrade to a more advanced model.

One mistake I made when buying the piano is not purchasing a stand to go with it. The keyboard is very thick and placed on a table or desk will be significantly higher than comfortable. Save yourself the trouble and get a stand. I opted for Kawai HML-1, as it takes little space, is very stable, has the perfect height and looks fantastic paired with the piano. Also, if you're planning to use headphones remember you need a mini-jack to jack adapter.

Highly recommended!

Brand

The visionary spirit of Koichi Kawai, our founder, laid an ambitious foundation stone and is the main reason why the name Kawai has been synonymous with innovation since 1927. Always searching for new materials and technologies that improve sound, feel, stability and value, Kawai was the first to pave the way for the greatest number of innovations in the piano industry. These include aluminium action parts, slow-closing keyboards, specially hardened music stands and of course the revolutionary use of ABS carbon for keyboard action. The passion for innovation also applies to electronic musical instruments. Kawai produced the first digital piano with keys made entirely of wood - as well as the first keyboard that was a true replica of a grand piano action, the first integrated CD recorder and the first digital piano with a real wood soundboard as a speaker replacement. In this never-ending development we see our challenge according to our motto - the future of the piano.
