Nachdem ich sowohl auf YouTube als auch in verschiedenen Foren sehr beeindruckende Reviews des C4 Synth Pedals von Source Audio gesehen bzw. gelesen hatte, wollte ich es gerne selber ausprobieren. Hier zuächst ein 'Shoutout' an MusiX.ch: Obwohl das Pedal noch nicht gelistet war, wurde es für mich bestellt, besten Dank dafür!
Das Pedal selbst kommt mit einigen voreingestellten Preset-Sounds, so richtig loslegen kann man aber sobald man die Neuro-App von Source-Audio auf dem PC oder dem Tablet installiert und den PC (sehr einfach) mit dem Pedal verbunden hat. Hier kann man die Presets verwalten und vor allem auch neue Sounds erstellen und modifizieren. Man hat alle Generatoren, Filter, Effekte und den Sequencer zur Verfügung und kann somit eigene Presets kreieren. Alternativ kann man sich auch von anderen Usern erstellte und publizierte Sounds laden.
Fertige Presets können auf dem Pedal gespeichert werden und lassen sich somit auch ohne den angeschlossenen Computer verwenden. Der Synth-Sound lässt sich sehr einfach mit dem 'Dry'-Sound des Instrumentes mischen.
Ich werde wohl noch eine Weile brauchen, bis ich alle Features durchprobiert habe und empfehle allen Interessenten sich die beeindruckenden Beispiele auf YouTube anzusehen.
Auch wenn die recht komplexe Bedienung einen hohen Aufwand für die Einarbeitung erfordert bin ich super zufrieden mit dem C4 Synth und werde sicher noch lange Spass daran haben!

Use the editor to create anything from classic synth tones to the sounds you've imagined, but never actually heard. Finally, for a world of great tones without all the tweaking, download sounds from the ever-expanding collection of published presets created by the C4 Neuro Community.
