There is no doubt that no other nation has had such a large and lasting influence on the global development of pop music as "The UK" - Great Britain! From such immortal artists as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to innovative web creators such as The Police and The Clash and today's modern superstars such as Adele and Ed Sheeran: in Great Britain, new musical paths have been taken again and again with great success and the general understanding of sound and feeling has been conceptually redefined without straying too far from the actual roots and origins in music history. It is no exaggeration to say that there have been no outstanding high points in the UK pop scene over the past 5 decades because the musical events have simply been taking place at an uninterrupted, top level. The UK Pop EZX offers this legacy of the unique UK sound.
The library was recorded in the famous London RAK Studios by the highly sought-after session drummer Ash Soan (Adele, James Morrison, Ronan Keating) and the engineer and Grammy winner Mark Taylor (Rod Stewart, Cher, Daniel Bedingfield) and with this special selection already offers three active and indispensable cornerstones of the current UK pop scene. In addition to the 4 complete drum sets, many additional snares and additional cymbals hand-picked especially for the session, there are also 7 individually created presets available which cover the full range of typical UK pop sounds. In addition to the indispensable "UK Pop" Main preset with its tight and deep sound also offers more intimate and muted sounds in the best Beatles tradition ("Tea Towels"), as well as more aggressive and snotty sounds reminiscent of T.Rex ("Carnaby Street"), or even more concise and explosive sounds ("Bristol Eyes") that are wonderfully suited to modern styles such as breakbeat.
This selection of drum sounds was inspired by the impressive development of British pop music over the past 60 years, recorded and produced in one of the most important London studios by two of the most influential professionals on the UK scene. The past and present of a legendary sound in the highest sound quality - ready for use in your future productions!
