Description
Screw the strap buttons with attached felt washer into the existing holes by hand with a 3mm/1/8" Allen key. Please make sure that the strap buttons sit fully on the wood, if necessary, first rub the wood flat.
If there is still no drill hole, drill this depending on the wood used.
Insert the lock through the hole in the strap. The lock is on the inside of your belt and the threaded hole for the lock-wheel on the outside. The open side of the lock (U-shape) points in each direction to the belt, so that the instrument can later safely hang in the lock.
If the hole in the belt is too narrow or there is only one slot in the belt, please cut away a piece of the belt in a circle (10mm) so that the thread can be easily pushed through the lock without the leather parts standing upright. Otherwise, the lock wheel can not be securely fastened and the lock and lock wheel can disengage.

I have installed Shaller on all my guitars. But for one set of screw.... the Allen wrench is turning in the air.... which is unfrotunately happening time to time on this product. you have like 10% of chance to get a bad batch let say. I still managed to fix it by scratching completely the black chrome and because I am too lazy to start to complain and send product back considering the effort / cost involved.
Still wanted to post this
I can highly recommend the Schaller S-Locks. I got the black matt ones and they blend in nicely with my black Les Paul style guitar. The Schaller strap locks do work - and they are dead easy to install.
Finally I can install strap locks without tools!
Thank you!!
These are definitely the best strap locks you can get. I was a bit nervous about screwing them into my Les Paul as the neck position seemed a little tight but after watching a you tube video I was reassured and just went with it. Great, they attach easily and feel solid when in use.
